Lilac carry-on luggage
Lilac is a soft, muted purple: lighter and grayer than a bright violet. On luggage it is easy to pick out of a row of black cases, without being loud. Here is the Weekender Set in Lilac, piece by piece.
What you get in Lilac
Two pieces in the same color and the same wave-textured hard shell:
- Carry-on: 55 × 34 × 22 cm (21.6 × 13.4 × 8.66 in) including wheels, four 360° spinner wheels, three-height telescoping handle, top carry handle, side combination lock.
- Vanity case: 30 × 30 × 16 cm (11.8 × 11.8 × 6.3 in) with two top handles and a strap that slips over the carry-on's handle.
How the color reads
Like any pale color, lilac looks a little different in shade, in sunlight and on different screens, so treat photos as a guide rather than an exact match. If the shade isn't what you expected, you can return the set within 30 days of delivery.
Why a lighter color is practical
A distinctive color is easier to spot in a hotel luggage room, a crowded overhead bin or the back of a shared car, and less likely to be picked up by someone with an identical black case. The trade-off with any light color is that marks show more readily, so wipe the shell down after a trip.
Keeping a light shell clean
After a trip, wipe the shell with a soft damp cloth and a little mild soap, paying attention to the edges and corners that brush against other bags, then let it dry before you store it. Skip abrasive pads and strong solvents, which can dull a textured finish.
Matching pieces
Because the vanity case rides on the carry-on's handle, the two travel as one stack and are clearly a pair. Both are in the same Lilac finish.
